  1. Hello,
My name is Sam Sprague, I am a local artist in the finger lakes area looking for a gallery to host my work. A friend referred me to you and I believe we could work together. Please refer to my website for recent examples of work.

If you are interested please contact me to discuss a possible exhibit.

    Best regards,

The Evelyn Peeler Peacock Gallery presents a variety of Member, Solo, and Regional Juried Exhibitions each year. Please see our Schedule & Guidelines for specific dates and shows.

Member exhibitions will not have specific calls for artists nor will they have advance submission requirements. These shows are open to all members of The ARTS Council and work can typically be on any theme, medium, or size, however, work still must meet the general guidelines for displaying work in the gallery. In some cases, member exhibitions will have specific size limitations or themes, in those situations, announcements will be sent via direct emails, the weekly newsletter, and Facebook posts. There are 4 member shows per year.

Solo Exhibitions will assist emerging artists as they grow professionally and explore their media. There are 2 solo shows per year.

Regional, juried exhibitions will be centered around a theme and have specific criteria and eligibility. There are 2 regional, juried shows per year. The next one is the Sanctuary Show. Whether profane or sacred, individual or city, sanctuaries can highlight the very best of our communities – the unwillingness to be in fear of the other, the unwillingness to give in to hate-fueled political or ideological bigotry, and the unwillingness to close our doors to those who most need safety and protection.

Sanctuaries can offer comfort and peace to those who seek refuge upon their shores, and in doing so, alleviate suffering and restore dignity. The Sanctuary Show seeks to capture the grace and humanity of this notion and encourages artists to explore a variety of responses across any medium.

Submission Information for the Sanctuary Show:

This is an open call exhibit for residents of New York and Pennsylvania. Priority is given to local artists. Submissions must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible:
Up to two pieces of artwork may be submitted
Artwork must be in response to the theme and an accompanying statement must comment on each artwork and its relationship to the theme
Artwork must be new and created for this show
Pedestal, Floor Standing, or Hanging Wall art may be submitted
Only work submitted through the online submission system will be considered
Not all work will be accepted and some work may be disqualified due to failure to meet submission criteria
The jury reserves the right to reject work that is disrespectful.
Artists must be 18 years or older to have work in the show
Please see the online submission form for all other details concerning submission criteria, delivery, and installation.
The guidelines are as follows for member and juried exhibits: https://earts.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Exhibition-Guidelines.pdf
